Conservation Programs

The Foundation for Biodiversity develops and supports conservation programmes that protect endangered species, restore ecosystems, and strengthen biodiversity through scientific research, international collaboration, and long-term partnerships. Working alongside governments, local communities, scientific institutions, and conservation organizations, our programmes are designed to deliver measurable, lasting outcomes for nature and people.

Our flagship programmes represent the Foundation's long-term commitment to protecting globally significant species and ecosystems.

CURRENT FLAGSHIP PROGRAMS

Saving Sumatra

INDONESIA

Building ecological connectivity across the Gran Chaco to safeguard one of South America's most important landscapes. Working alongside governments, landowners, scientists, and local communities, the programme seeks to strengthen habitat connectivity, protect biodiversity, and promote sustainable conservation across national boundaries.

Jaguar Corridor Initiative

Protecting one of the world's most endangered mammals while supporting the long-term conservation of Sumatra's globally important rainforest ecosystems. The programme brings together scientific research, government partnerships, species recovery planning, habitat management, and conservation technology to strengthen the future of the Sumatran rhinoceros and the biodiversity upon which it depends.

PARAGUAY • ARGENTINA • BOLIVA • BRAZIL

INDONESIA

Developing innovative island conservation programmes that restore threatened and illegally trafficked parrot populations through habitat restoration, invasive species management, and long-term ecosystem protection. The programme aims to create secure island refuges that support species recovery while protecting unique island biodiversity.
